Not sure if this has been posted yet. Ah well.

Hi everyone,
Hands (paws) up if you received a Valentine’s card? Apparently your best chance of receiving one is to become a teacher: Out of the ONE BILLION Valentine’s cards sent around the world, 650 MILLION are given to schoolteachers. Wow. They must need pretty big desks to display them all.
And that, my friends, is the Fascinating Fact for February.
The Erins have spent the month holed up, finishing Omen of the Stars #1: The Fourth Apprentice (yay, beavers!), Seekers #4: The Last Wilderness, and the Warriors Super Edition for 2009, Bluestar’s Prophecy. Which was seriously fun to work on, but something of a nightmare when it came to sorting out recent Clan history, including the dreaded family trees... One of the best parts was observing Tigerstar as a kit. Would you have guessed he was the runt of his litter, and nearly didn’t make it?
Now that we’ve brought ThunderClan up to date, our thoughts are turning to the Warriors Super Edition for Fall 2010. I know, it seems like forever away, but we need to get storylining now! And, in another of our famous website polls, we’d love to know which Clan you think should be featured. If you go to www.warriorcats.com, you’ll find a list of the possible Clans, and the chance to vote as many times as you like for your preferred choice. We can’t make any promises, but we love knowing your opinions and we really listen!
For example, you’ll notice that there’s very little romance in Warriors #1: Into the Wild. That’s because we were far more interested in Clan politics, rivalry and revenge. But we quickly spotted that a lot of online reviews and comments talked about the hints of romance between Firepaw and Spottedleaf, and even some of the older, less central characters. Aha! The readers want romance! And lo and behold, we gave you Graystripe and Silverstream, the Romeo and Juliet of the Clans, with their perfect love that was doomed to end in tragedy…
Well, you didn’t specify that you wanted happy endings...
If you missed last month’s AuthorTracker, you might not know that Seekers #2: Great Bear Lake is now available in stores and online. The paperback edition of Seekers #1: The Quest Begins is also on sale, for those of you who need to catch up with the opening book to the series. Go to www.seekerbears.com to Browse Inside both titles, and find stacks of interesting and entertaining stuff about this series, from quizzes to an exclusive e-card.
The next brand new title to go on sale will be Power of Three #6: Sunrise, which hits the stores on April 20th. Lots of news about that to follow, but in the meantime, look out for the paperback edition of Power of Three #3: Outcast. In this book, Jaypaw, Lionpaw and Hollypaw travel to the mountains to help the Tribe of Rushing Water – and discover that their destiny reaches farther than any of them ever imagined.
Enjoy the first hints of newleaf, folks. Talk to you again next month!
With love and good wishes,
Erin x

Tigrey was the runt of the litter? 0_0 He must have had some big brothers and sisters then, if that massive tabby was considered 'small'.
